More skill building and open play for beginners please!

I joined the Bellingham Pickleball club and am a beginner but it seems like all of the skill building and open play are during the weekdays when I am at work.  I have tried to sign up for the Monday afternoon open plays but they are full.  I really want to play!  Is there anyone out there who could practice with me?
